Valentines Day

Here I am, showing my love and appreciation for hippos...

Well, Hamsters and Hippos has taken a step back as I plow through with my new blog. To get this thing restarted, i'm holding a Valentines contest. And yes, it can be just two hippos or just two hamsters, and yes, it can be a hippo and a hamster. Up to you. There will be categories for the winners including "Most Creative" and "Most heart warming". Entries due on February 14th.

Hey all you Hamster Hippo fans. There is a fantastic benefit art show this weekend called Purrcasso. The proceeds from the art auction go directly to the humane society so it's well worth checking out and possibly coming home with some beautiful art.
